Pre Sixties Vintage Auto Supply: What type of vehicle do you have?
1950 Oldsmobile Fastback 76

Can you give us some history of your car or truck? Where did you find it? How long have you owned it?
Roughly about three years ago I had just sold my 1932 Ford Model B rat rod truck and wanted to find family classic car that we could enjoy going for cruises. About a month later, I came across the Fastback style that I’ve always wanted to own. The Olds was located In Welland, Ontario and purchased the car the same day I went to go look at it.

What work has been done? What work have you done?
The “Oldslayedmobile” has gone through some major changes from the original stock look, while still keeping original flathead big six motor. The car is now equipped with Airride by Airlift performance (3P). 7Gallon air tank, two 454 viair compressors, air bags on all four corners, c-notched, 4-link in the back. Mustang ll front clip, Rack & Pinion steering. Custom upper and lower control arms. All the work has been done by Jay at Commonwealth Chassis Works. There are some other small cosmetic details were done to the car: venetian blinds at rear back window, 15″ polara jet style 3-star custom spinner hubcaps. The pinstriping on the dash was done by Danno from Danno Black Heart Designs.

Do you have any work planned for the future?
My future plans is to metalflake the roof! and maybe LS motor one day!

What’s a favourite memory with your car or truck?
I have tons of good memories with the car being at shows or getting photographed tons of times by so many talented photographers! But my favourite memory of the car is debuting it at Motorama’s Custom Car show in 2020 (in the Back Room)
